VISUALCONNX simplifies GUIs for aerospace test systems

Aerospace test systems often require complex user interfaces because the Simulink models used to simulate the full authority digital electronic controls (FADECs) can be very complex. To design a graphical user interface (GUI) for a complex aerospace test or control system, you need a design tool that can easily connect to the real-time system and can design a GUI that has many more user controls than in the past.

High-bandwidth monitoring and control

Having the appropriate displays is only part of the story, however. When a large amount of connections exist between the control system and the real-time GUI, it is important to be able to acquire and display the data at a high frame rate. This is where VISUALCONNX really shines. Using Simulink and xPC with VISUALCONNX and a high-bandwidth TCP/IP Ethernet interface, a very high bandwidth can be achieved.
